OnePlus is about to launch its first compact flagship phone in India. The OnePlus 13s combines powerful features with a smaller size that many users have been asking for. Here’s everything you need to know about this upcoming smartphone.
The OnePlus 13s will launch in India by late May or early June 2025. This phone is the Indian version of what China knows as the OnePlus 13T. OnePlus first teased the phone on April 28, calling it “coming soon” on their official website.
The expected price is around Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000 for the base model in India.

Size and Design

The OnePlus 13s measures 150.8 x 71.7 x 8.2 mm and weighs 185 grams. It has an aluminium frame with glass on the front. You can choose from three colours Black, Gray and Pink.
The phone has IP65 protection that means it can handle some water splashes.
Display
The phone comes with a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 1216 x 2640 resolution. The display refreshes at 120Hz for smooth scrolling and has a peak brightness of 1600 nits. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for better video watching.
The screen is protected by Crystal Shield Glass and covers about 90.6% of the front face.
Performance

Inside the OnePlus 13s is the top-end Snapdragon 8 Elite chip – the same one used in the larger OnePlus 13. This means you get flagship performance in a smaller phone.
The phone will offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. There is no memory card slot to add more storage.

Camera System
The OnePlus 13s features two rear cameras:
- 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization
- 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom
For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera.
The cameras can record 4K video at 60 frames per second and support Dolby Vision HDR recording.
Battery and Charging
One of the most impressive features is the 6260 mAh battery, which is very large for a compact phone. The OnePlus 13s supports 80W fast charging, which can fill the battery quickly in under 40 minutes.
It also supports 33W PPS, 18W Power Delivery, and 18W Quick Charge standards. There’s even 5W reverse wired charging to power up other devices.
Software
The phone runs on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15. This software is known for being clean and fast without too many unnecessary apps.
Features include Circle to Search, AI photo enhancements, and a good gaming mode. OnePlus typically provides 4 years of updates for flagship phones.
Connectivity
The OnePlus 13s supports:
- 5G networks
- Wi-Fi 7
- Bluetooth 5.4
- GPS and other location systems
- NFC for contactless payments
- USB Type-C
- Infrared port for controlling TVs
Other features include an under-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers. There is no headphone jack.
Why Choose OnePlus 13s?
The OnePlus 13s stands out because it offers flagship features in a smaller size. Most powerful phones today are large and hard to use with one hand. The OnePlus 13s solves this problem without sacrificing performance.
The combination of the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, large 6260 mAh battery, fast charging, and quality display makes it a strong option for people who want a premium compact phone.
What's Missing In OnePlus 13s?
Compared to the larger OnePlus 13, the 13s doesn’t have an ultra-wide camera. It also lacks wireless charging. These might be important to some users.
Final Word on OnePlus 13s
The OnePlus 13s looks set to fill a gap in the market for premium compact phones. With its powerful processor, capable cameras, large battery, and smaller form factor, it should appeal to users who find today’s flagship phones too large.
As OnePlus says: “Powered up, sized down.” For those looking for a powerful phone that’s easier to handle, the OnePlus 13s could be the answer when it launches in India in the coming weeks.
